KIA’s K900 is Turning Heads

Luxury is not uncommon, but perfection is rare.  Since the K900 debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show last year, the media has praised the luxury vehicle for its “elegant yet dynamic exterior styling,” first-class interior, robust standard feature set and advanced technologies.  Over one thousand K900’s have been sold quickly raising the bar for the most affluent driver.

August’s issue of Robb Report features a glowing review of the K900.  For more than 30 years, Robb Report has served as the definitive authority on connoisseurship for ultra-affluent consumers, showcasing products, services and experiences from luxury brands and now the magazine is happy to add the KIA vehicle to its list.  Robb Report’s impression of the K900 speaks to the great in-roads KIA has made into the premium space and ability to compete in the luxury market.

The Robb Report notes, “the KIA has all the credentials of a luxury sedan, and its exterior paint, interior upholstery, and fit and finish would be exemplary on a $100,000 automobile.”

KIA USA is dedicated to offering world-class design, advance technology and outstanding quality in every segment.

2014 KIA Cadenza Named ‘International Car of the Year’

Kia scored a big victory when Road & Travel Magazine named the 2014 Kia Cadenza as the International Car of the Year (ICOTY) at the 2014 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.  This marks the publications 25th anniversary and scores a back-to-back win for Kia; last year the 2013 Kia Optima took the coveted award.

The all-new premium sedan from Kia sports a stunning design and top-of-the-line amenities all at a great value, propelling the automaker into uncharted waters and competing with luxury brands.  The ICOTY award adds yet another accomplishment to the impressive list the Cadenza has earned since it launched in early 2013.

“This year marks Kia’s 20th anniversary in the United States market, and in that time we have become known for taking bold steps.  The 2014 Cadenza is another leap forward for the brand and has brought new and affluent customers into our retail showrooms, people who had never considered Kia before,” said Michael Sprague, executive vice president of marketing & communications, KMA.  “To win the prestigious ICOTY award two years running is a clear indication that our products continue to offer a world-class balance of design, amenities and value for today’s discerning car buyers.”
“The Kia Cadenza wins in this category for a variety of reason, including Kia’s remarkable effort to emerge in the entry-lux category,” said Courntey Caldwell, editor-in-chief of Road & Travel Magazine.  “Overall, the car is beautiful and affordable, making upscale style and performance attainable to mid-America.  We applaud Kia’s rapid rise from underdog to unbelievable!”
The ICOTY award is the most recent in a string of accolades the 2014 Cadenza has received.  Just a few months ago, the Cadenza took top honors in Motor Trend Magazine’s full-size sedan comparison test and was named to the 2014 North American Car of the Year short list.

Huffines KIA Denton Proudly presents the new 2014 KIA Cadenza

Kia explodes on to the Luxury Vehicle Market with the New 2014 Kia Cadenza
KIA has made its mark on the automotive industry with great models that exceed expectations and re-define standards, and all at the best price.  This year, Kia looks to surprise again with a new Luxury Model, the 2014 Kia Cadenza.

The Cadenza is making impressions with reviewers and will be available to the world very soon, all 293 horsepower of it.  Complete with a wealth of standard and optional high-end features, along with sharp styling that makes it stand apart from the crowd.

The Cadenza muscles aside the Chrysler 300, Toyota Avalon, Buick LaCrosse, and Volkswagen Passat, and is the best choice for buyers interested in a large sedan.  Standard features include 18 inch alloy wheels, foglights, rain-sensing wipers, power-folding side mirrors, keyless ignition/entry, leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control, and a 10-way power driver seat as well as 4-way power passenger seat.

The standard high-tech features amp it up even further with a rearview camera, rear park assist, 8-inch touchscreen display, Kia’s Uvo voice command system, a navigation system, Bluetooth phone/audio and a 12-speaker Infinity Surround-Sound system.  That’s a lot of great features that make the Cadenza stand even taller over its competitors.
You have to see this amazing vehicle to believe it!  Check it out on the showroom floor of Huffines KIA Denton located at 5150 Interstate 35 in Denton, Texas, come or call 940.321.2504 and schedule a test drive the new standard of luxury.

Can you Name this Car? You will be surprised!

“Luxury at its finest” is what automotive critics have published.  “This car is good-looking, well-powered, and an impressively mannered four-door…” stated by the Associated Press.

The list of standard features on the front-wheel drive vehicle is lengthy including a rearview camera, navigation system, and 18-inch wheels.  If you guessed Toyota Avalon or the Buick LaCrosse you would be mistaken.  In addition to the Avalon and LaCrosse measuring up; this vehicle comes standard with a free telematics system which among other things, it can save the parked car’s location and help guide the driver back to the vehicle via GPS after a day of shopping, weeklong vacation, or business trip.

Its generous warranty program provides powertrain coverage for 10 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first as well as limited basic warranty coverage for five years or 60,000 miles.  Roadside assistance last for the same five years or 60,000 miles.

Are you thinking Cadillac?  Think again.

At first glance after looking at the headlights, onlookers were surprised that this vehicle was not a BMW.  As they viewed the rear end of this slick machine; they were shocked that it was not an Audi either.
Besides the attractive styling, a luxury vehicle has to handle great too.  Right?  This car is more than 16 feet long, so how would it take potholed city streets, winding country roads, or even gravel or dirt roads?  Don’t you need a SUV to enjoy a smooth ride?

This transport carrier dominated the highways, and because it uses independent MacPherson struts up front and an independent multilink setup in back there was no jolting or unnecessary road noise in the cabin.  Are you thinking Lexus?  Now you are grasping at straws.

Although the motor vehicle comes standard with the usual safety equipment like eight air bags, traction, electronic stability, and hill descent control it also has other nice safety features as well.  Some of these amenities are the side blind spot monitoring and lane departure warning.

If you are thinking you would be traveling in a Yukon, you would have made another wrong guess.

With federal government fuel economy ratings for this model being 19 miles per gallon in city driving and 28 miles per gallon on the highway with an average 22 mpg; this efficient test car averaged better than 24 miles per gallon during a range of 445 miles on a single 18.5 gallon tank.  With that much time not having to make continuous pit-stops at the gas station; it is very nice to have all of the controls and buttons in perfect location to operate.  Not to mention, the Infinity radio; this has an eyebrow-raising 550 watts of power, 12 speakers and surround sound which is all standard.  Nope!  It is not a Mercedes either.
OK, one more clue.  Let’s talk about pricing.  Are you thinking $45,000?  With all of these options you are probably expecting a $55,000 sticker price.  What if I were to tell you this beautiful, powerful, high performance vehicle’s base price is around $20,000 cheaper than its luxury counter-parts.  That’s right.  Estimated prices for a 2014 model are estimated at $34,000 to drive it off of the show-room floor.

You wouldn’t believe it if I told you.  So you will have to see it for yourself.  Visit Huffines KIA Denton located at 5150 Interstate 35 in Denton, Texas to see the all new full-size sedan named 2014 KIA Cadenza.  Oops.  I told you what it is.  You still don’t believe me?  Call the dealership at 940.321.2504 and find out more about taking your new ride for a spin!
