The Huffines Auto Dealerships have discounted tickets for the public to attend the DFW Auto Show which begins March 26, 2015 ending March 29th.

The DFW Auto Show will be held at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center (formerly the Dallas Convention Center).  It is one of the most anticipated annual events in the Metroplex and is the ideal opportunity for consumers to compare styling and pricing of every major line make under one roof in just a few hours.  The DFW Auto Show was conceived in 1982, and now boasts more than half a million square feet of new cars, trucks and SUV’s at the convention center.

Dallas Cowboys great, Roger Staubach was the 2015 keynote speaker for the DFW Auto Show and shared his passion of putting others ahead of one’s self.  Mr. Staubach was the Heisman Trophy winner while playing football for the United States Naval Academy in 1963.  His college highlights included the Maxwell Award, UPI College Player of the Year, Walter Camp Memorial Trophy the same year.

He was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in 1964 in the 10th round (129th pick) of the NFL draft as well as in the 16th round (122nd pick) of the AFL draft.  However, he honored his commitment to the U.S. Navy including serving a tour of duty in Vietnam before joining the Cowboys in 1969.

While with “America’s Team”, Staubach led the Cowboys to victories in Super Bowl VI and Super Bowl XII being named Most Valuable Player of Super Bowl VI.  He became the first of four players to win both the Heisman Trophy and Super Bowl MVP and was named to the Pro Bowl six times during his 11-year NFL career.  In 1985, Roger Staubach was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Automakers keep rolling out their Super Bowl ads online days ahead of the actual game, but the extended cut of Kia's commercial for the 2016 Sorento is probably the best of the batch released so far. The spot does a great job of combining action and humor into a tight package, while showing off the CUV in the snow.

The ad, titled The Perfect Getaway Vehicle, stars former James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan as he is pitched for the Kia commercial. Brosnan tries to imagine it all, but given a career mostly as a suave action star, he misunderstands the slightly more realistic style that the brand is going for.
